Conducted a Special lecture programme on “Recent Trends in Hotel Industry”

through its Dukes and Duchess club on Friday (30/06/2023).

Mr.M.Muthupandi (Alumnus), working as Assistant Bar Manager at the Singapore

Island Country Club, Singapore was the Resource person.

During the programme he explained the various procedures and protocols followed in

Singapore. And he detailed the importance of handling various situations in a Bar.

He introduces the role of cocktails and the ingredients used in cocktail making and the

various methods used in cocktail making. He also explained the importance of personal

grooming in the Bar.

Earlier Mr.C.Gunaseelan (III B.Sc) welcomed the gathering. The event was organized by

Dr.S.Karthikeyan, Head, and Department of Hotel Management.

Mr.S.Bharathithasan, Mr.M.Karthikeyan and Mr.S.Rengasamy Assistant Professors and

52 students participated with enthusiasm.
