On 20th February 2020 a special lecture program was organized on “ Employment
Opportunities Overseas for Hotel Management Students” by the Department of Hotel
Management and Catering Science, J.J. College of Arts and Science (Autonomous),
Pudukkottai the lecture was delivered by Mr. Murugesan Paulraj, Operations Manager,
Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort & Spa, St. Lucia, Caribbean, West Indies. He
spotlighted the Employment Opportunities Overseas for Hotel Management students,
further he motivated the students to mould themselves to employment by learning beyond
the syllabus. He gave them tips a how to crack interviews abroad and grab job
opportunities. He narrated some important events from his working atmosphere and
asked the students to use all gadgets in a useful manner, to update their field related
knowledge and meet employer’s requirements.

Earlier Mr. S. Thiyagarajan, Assistant Professor of Hotel Management and
Catering Science delivered the welcome address. Mr.S.Karthikeyan, Head Department of
Hotel Management and Catering Science chaired the event, Mr. S. Bharathithasan,
Assistant Professor, Department of Hotel Management and Catering Science delivered
the vote of thanks.
