A health camp programme was organized by the Sumner’s Club of Department of

Biochemistry, J.J College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), Pudukkottai in association with

Dr. Muthuraja's Multispeciality Hospital, Viram Diagnostic center-Hi tech lab, Pudukkottai. The

programme started at around 10:30 am at health camp site in Attangudi village along with Dr.

S.Kanitha, Assistant Professor and Head, Mr. P. Palaniappan, Assistant Professor and Dr. A.S.

Vijayakumar, Assistant Professor, of the Department of Biochemistry, J.J College of Arts and

Science(Autonomous), Pudukkottai along with Dr. Monisha, Manager of Dr. Muthuraja's

Multispeciality Hospital, Viram Diagnostic center-Hi tech lab, Pudukkottai and P. Rengammal

Attangudi village president and 3 rd year undergraduate students and team from Dr. Muthuraja's

Multispeciality Hospital.

With a formal inauguration programme at Attangudi village, Dr. S. Kanitha, Head of the

Department of Biochemistry, welcomed the dignitaries. Dr. Monisha, explained the aims and

objectives of special medical camp. Dr. Kaviyarasu MBBS and Dr. Devika MBBS, chief Dr

Community Medicine, enlightened the villagers about the increasing trend of both communicable

and non-communicable diseases. P. Rengammal Attangudi village president took part actively in

the event and rendered her fullest support in organizing the event successfully.
