The English Literary Association of J. J. College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), Sivapuram, Pudukkottai, organized a felicitation program titled "A Day of Recognition" at 11:00 a.m. on 10.10.2025.The event honored the winners of the intra-departmental competitions conducted by the association.
The program commenced with an introductory address by Ms. S. Selvi, Head of the Department of English, followed by a warm welcome address by Nithya Priyadharshni of II M.A. The Principal, Dr. J. Parasuraman, graced the occasion with a special address, emphasizing the importance of participating in literary and creative events for personality development, communication skills, and confidence.
Prizes and certificates were distributed to the winners by the Principal, motivating the students with appreciation and encouragement. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Sherly Evangeline of II B.A English, expressing gratitude to the management, Principal, staff, and students. Abirami of II M.A English served as the comperer.
The event successfully celebrated the talents and achievements of the Department of English students, making it a memorable day.
